now it's time to panic! We had a job fair at our school and the graduating class had tables in the "showcase", meaning we stood there and talked to a lot of industry professionals. I met a ton of really great people, including a dude name Jim Hickey. He showed me a bunch of his stuff as well. He formally retired from animation in 2009, and now he's just doing art for the sake of fun. He makes these really cool rayguns and carvings and stuff, and I highly recommend that you go and follow him on his flickr. It's for a really good cause guys, I freakin' swear! Basically, I started an indiegogo campaign for my sponsored child. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a crowd funding platform (place to donate, essentially) for people who need to raise money for important things ranging from tuition to paying someones medical expenses.
